Kings Mews, London
This quiet mews was previously home to two dilapidated family units joined by oversized garages. The properties, built in the 1970’s, had long been unoccupied and were being encroached by an overgrown garden.
With a trusted architect, we spent over six months planning four new modern family homes. Each property would be unique, however, all would maximise both indoor and outdoor space, taking advantage of the opportunity to build up as well as down. To achieve this, lower ground floors, floor to ceiling light-wells, mezzanines and south facing terraces are planned for each of the homes. The results will be spacious, light filled, contemporary living suitable for young and growing families. Each home will be in excess of 2000 sq ft and provide for the increasing desire for hidden storage, high spec finishes and open plan living.
